Welcome to Canbury Management

There could be a number of reasons why you are looking for a new managing agent.

  1. You are a Resident Management Company and your current agent when they first took over did well but are now found ‘wanting’ or

We are a small company and retain the properties we manage because they have come to us by way of recommendation and not aggressive marketing or advertising.

Canbury was set up in 2002, however, Bryce Robinson who deals with all management personally has been involved with residential property management since 1979 – over 35 years of experience – he has been a member of the Institute of Residential Property Management since its inception and is also an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having dealt with traditional mansion blocks to new build properties.

Our Clients are both corporate landlords and resident management companies and we believe we have an excellent professional working relationship with the Directors of our Client companies.

All of the management we provide fully complies with the RICS Service Charge Residential Management Code, Landlord and Tenant Acts, Commonhold and Leasehold Reform legislation and is in line with the ARMA guidelines. We are corporate members of ARMA and have accredited status to ARMA-Q.

All properties we manage benefit from separate bank accounts that have trustee status, a new bank account is set up at the outset of management and any interest received on the account is re-credited to the property bank account for the benefit of lessees generally.

We are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority to act as an intermediary and are therefore able to advise and arrange insurances for your property and deal with any claims arising at your property.

We are, of course, properly registered under the Data Protection Act and subscribe to the Property Ombudsman Scheme.

Whilst we have a standard management agreement because we are a relatively small company we are easily able and more than willing to tailor any agreement to suit individual clients’ requirements.
